Harvey Rabinowitz

Harvey Rabinowitz was born August 28, 1945 in Brooklyn, New York,
youngest of five children and the only son. After graduation from Jamaica High School in
1962 he attended the Bernard Baruch School of Business and Public Administration of CCNY
and was awarded a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration in 1966. Harvey's thirty-plus year media career began at McCaffrey & McCall in New York and included stints at William Esty, Winters Rosen Productions, Doyle Dane Bernbach and Ed Libov. In 1978, Harvey moved to Michigan and joined W.B. Doner as Associate Media Director eventually being promoted to Senior V.P., Media Director. By 1996 the only media position Harvey had not held was that of ‘Owner’ so he left the agency business and started his own media placement and consulting company, Media...Period.
Harvey's business philosophy is the key to his success. With his clients he believes in “Complete and open communication in order to fully understand and analyze our clients’ business environment. As partners with the right information exchange, we can best recommend media solutions, strategies and tactics.” About working with media representatives he says “ When negotiating, honesty delivers trust and respect. A strong mindedness combined with intelligence will always create a win-win situation.”
Harvey and Carole, his wife of 23 years, live in West Bloomfield, Michigan. Their children include: Robert Rabinowitz 34, Lori Weston 32, Scott Bender 36 and Adam Bender 33. But as empty-nesters they enjoy the company of their Saint Bernard dogs, Shelby and BeBe.
Harvey and Carole enjoy traveling. When not traveling or contemplating media, Harvey is enjoying the current baseball season and rooting for his beloved New York Yankees.
